Our Values & Aims.

We are a family run nursery, who provide excellent childcare. Where all children can experience high quality teaching and learning from a passionate, caring and enthusiastic team of qualified staff, whilst feeling happy and safe. Children at our nursery can thrive from the varied learning experiencs on offer and the enabling environment we provide. We have many high quality resources and a beautiful outside space. We value all children as unique and support them to grow into happy, confident, active learners during their time with us.

Our nursery team are highly skilled and motivated and the care we offer is warm and nurturing. We believe we are different to other nurseries because of our strong parent partnerships; all families are encouraged to be involved in every aspect of our nursery and invited to share home learning experiences and enhance their child's planning through sharing interests and activities.

Through our unique online learning journals parents are able to experience what their child is doing at nursery daily, from home or work.

About us.

We are based in the village of Peasedown St John, just 10 minutes from Bath and 5 minutes from Radstock. We offer 36 places, from 6 months to 5 years and an after school facility for children up to the age of eight (we can collect children from Peasedown St John Primary School).

We are open from 7.30am-6pm. The nursery is a converted chapel offering a lovely bright airy space full of natural light and has a real 'home from home' feeling.

Our rural location means we can take advantage of lots of opportunities to enjoy the local countryside. We can often be found out and about exploring our community or doing Forest Activities. We provide an inclusive setting where we value all children and families regardless of gender, disability, culture, home language, family background or religion.

"Our little boy loves The Learning Tree. You really helped him settle in quickly when we moved to the area and he was experiencing a lot of changes. It is a really fun, supportive and caring environment and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to our friends!" Heidi, Mummy to Bobby age 2
